As part of the BIDC ongoing efforts to promote, facilitate and increase exports from Barbados, the above captioned workshop will take place on Sept. 29, 2017. The objective of the training is to demonstrate to participants in detail, the mechanics of export financing from within the financial jurisdiction of Barbados.

Your interaction with the Central Bank of Barbados:

  • How do they facilitate Export Finance activies?
  • Relevant Schemes
    • Specifically the Export Finance Guarantee & Export CreditInsurance Schemes
  • Other facilities or requirements

Your interaction with your Commercial Bank:

  • Explore the relationship between Export Credit Agencies products and those of other trade finance solutions

The Workshop will be presented by the Central Bank and Commercial Bank officials.  Registration will commence at 8:20 a.m. on the morning of Sept. 29, 2017. A morning break and lunch will be served. A nominal fee of Bds $75.00 will be charged to each participant. Please respond by 4:00 p.m. Tuesday 26th September, 2017 as a limit of thirty (30) participants will be accommodated.
