Fundamentals of Business Workshop - Business Development Program for Small Businesses

The Barbados Investment and Development Corporation will continue its Fundamentals of Business Workshops with a five week-workshop entitled - Business Development Program for Small Businesses. The Workshop is targeting newly established businesses; those in operation for less than one year; and those at the pre-venture stage.
This workshop will run for a period five (5) weeks, commencing October 22, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and run every Tuesday, until November 19, 2019.
The series will cover the main pillars of business planning which include, but are not limited to:
- Business Strategy, and
After completion of this training, participants will have a better understanding of the following:
- the importance of marketing to the business and how it impacts the value;
- the need to have a comprehensive business strategy to chart a path for the business’ success;
- an understanding of operations management and its importance to the business processes and improving the customer experience; and
- how critical finance is to the survival and continuity of the business.
The Workshop will be conducted by lead presenter Richard Blades, Business Development Specialist of Blades & Blades Consultancy.

Cost of workshop is Bds$100.00. Payment can be made to the Cashier at BIDC's Head Office, Pelican House, Princess Alice Highway, Bridgetown, no later than 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2019.
